H&I Customization > The 7-Step Customized Page-Design Process
- 1.) (a) Fill out our on-line form or (b) call an H&I representative (800 783-4788) or contact us
- a. We will get an initial idea of what kind of page and copy you are interested in, as well as other basic specifications.
- b. Please let us know right away if you have important time considerations.
- 2.) We will send or email you a number of sample forms, based on your input.
- 3.) You may find the exact design you want, or one that is very close and only requires a few changes, which you will indicate via phone or email.
- 4.) If not, you will be asked to identify more precisely what kind of design you do want, and there will be a back and forth process with an H&I representative until together we have arrived at just a design that you like.
- 5.) In either case, once we have tentative agreement, we will send or email you a proof. This will show you exactly what your page(s) will look like, and also delineate all of the other specifications of your book.
- a. Sometimes, receiving a proof will stimulate further refinements, and there will be further back and forth communication.
- b. This process will continue until you are satisfied.
- 6.) When you have received a proof that works, you sign your approval and email or send it back to us.
- 7.) Our representative will give you an estimated delivery date, often within a week or two, and our production team goes immediately to work.”
