News > Dear FriendsThere’s a very small list of employees at Hodges & Irvine. We’re all residents of the St. Clair area and over half of us are related to each other. A new face is a rare occurance.
Still, we’ve noticed a few new faces around the shop. In the trees behind our building, we’ve spotted at least three whitetail deer making a home in the woods. Not exactly a forest, the trees behind Hodges & Irvine are dense enough to offer cover to a lot of wildlife, and the gardens in the surrounding subdivision offer a lot to munch on. That doesn’t stop some of us from bringing in a bag of carrots for our new neighbors. We’ll keep you updated on the story of Bambi as the winter months brings changes to the foliage and availiability of garden crops. If you’d like a daily play by play, you can always call our sales staff at 800.783.4788. They may try to sell you a reservation book though. Also: Hodges & Irvine will be on television this fall. No, we won’t be featured on Entertainment Tonight, interviewed by Barbara Walters, or dance with any stars. We will, however, have one of our spiral bound table reservation books being used in a hit network television show as a prop. To celebrate our brush with fame, we’ve decided to offer a prize.
