For instance, September 6 is Labor Day, one of those generic holidays engineered to fall on a Monday in order to break up the year with sales on retail. Most people consider Labor Day the first day of Autumn, the beginning of the school year, and the end of Summer liesure. The last day to drink lemonade, wear white shoes and grill outside.
